What We Did On Our Summer Vacation

The Lexplorers had a very fun and eventful summer, most of it spent far from the keyboard.  Now that the summer is drawing to a close, we will be spending some time catching up on Lexplorers posts, reviews, and podcasts.

We have a few new Lexplorers podcasts on the way, including an update from Carlos on several major recent developments (plus a special guest all the way from Daegu).   At the risk of stealing Carlos’s thunder, the most significant development is the planning of a Lexplorers team trip to Korea in 2018.   This trip will dominate the Lexplorers team priorities in the coming months.

Related to the aforementioned trip to Korea, we made significant progress in the Couch to Korean Challenge over the summer.   We are working on several updates on the current status of the challenge, and we also have new Korean resource reviews on the way.

We did a lot of reading this summer, much of it just for fun but some of it of interest to other Lexplorers.   So we also have several book reviews to finalize in the coming weeks.

The end of summer is always a bit bittersweet.  But as we transition from Summer mode into the new Autumn routine, we look forward to clearing out the backlog of updates and reviews and podcasts.
